Nuno Ramalho, “Negatives”
Continuing from previous experiences, this exhibition tries to deepen questions related to the practice and positioning of art and its agents in present times.
In this case, an attempt is made at constructing artistic inactivity, a phantasmagoric concept that can be (or not) manifested through its negatives – that is, the works that make up this exhibition.
Essentially, there will be two nuclei of recent works presented: sets of drawings, which speculate on the afternoon naps taken in the studio by way of material and immaterial aspects involved in them; plus, an installation with multiple video projections filtered by glass crystals, which document different moments of everyday online navigation.
