“Efrain’s Choice”

“For Lygia Pape and Márcia x”

The presented choice consists of a set of works by Artists for which I maintain a relationship of affection and affinity.

The mounting follows a logic of timeline where the works adopt a narrative constituted by fragments. A sinuous rhythm line creating relationships between artists of different generations narrating at the same time experiences and stories that are linked to life itself.

It is important to note the presence of the body that is diluted according to the sequence of this line.

I start this presentation with a wonderful photograph of the Artist Lygia Pape taken by her daughter, Paula Pape, and I end the sequence with a silk screen by Márcia X.
