LAUNCH OF THE BOOK “PORTUGUESE EMERGING ART 2023”

The duo Lealveileby was selected to be part of the book Portuguese Emerging Art 2023 (PEA’23), published by EMERGE – Associação Cultural. The work “Queer Poppy”, 2023 | fabric, pens and coins featured in the exhibition “Janeiro Grotesto” (20.01.2023 – 19.03.2023) is represented in this edition.
Now in its fifth edition, the book is made up of the work of 19 Portuguese artists and artists resident in Portugal for more than three years. The works were selected by a jury made up of art historian and MNAC director Emília Ferreira (@emiliaferreira91 ), Portuguese-Spanish cultural manager Leonor Lloret (@leonor_lloret ) and artist Pedro Calapez (@pcalapez ), with editorial coordination by Daniela Ambrósio (@edanielaambrosio ).
